New Air of Civility? Minority Leader Sal Pace Uses Fighting Words
Speaking to a union crowd about Republicans Pace said “I’m willing to put my fist where I need to put it, I’m willing to fight. I’m willing to go and rumble to make sure we’re fighting for good jobs.”
Pace also said “If we let the other side have their policy, have their agenda, it’s about making the rich richer, fighting for the corporations. It’s not about growing the middle class.”
.."it’s no coincidence that the middle class started disappearing the same time union jobs started going away."
Now I was speaking somewhat tongue-in-cheek pertaining to the new air of civility. the whole idea is silly in my opinion. Politics is rough and always has been. We have nothing new now, those who say so have an agenda to shut down the other side's free speech.
Pace can use that language, it does not offend me. Politicians and especially ones in bed with unions have always spoken this way to say nothing of what the actual union bosses fighting language entails.
The problem with his statements in support of the public employees union, I would say that Mr Pace gets many thousands of dollars towards his election campaigns from unions and so he is going to vote their way regardless of whether it is good for the economy....that is the problem with public unions. They vote themselves more money...more of OUR money.
Unions operating outside the government need to come up with a way to be reasonable toward the profit margin of a company or risk being even more irrelevant than they are now. Almost every issue of State budget crisis (or failed car company for that matter) in this nation has to do with a Union who wanted too much using politicans who would not say no.
There should be no such thing as a PUBLIC employee union. If Unions can survive in the free market then so be it but in Government they have no business, it's called a conflict of interest.
Sal, your damn right it's about fighting for corporations, companies, small businesses and startups. It's about fighting for jobs and those are the places that have them for me and my neighbors. The eaiser they have it to make money, the more good paying jobs there will be.

Eric Fuller - History of Left Wing Nut Job

Fuller has a history of being an angry antagonist, especially during elections. So far we have two moonbats in the shooting, the one who did the shooting and now Eric Fuller who is threatening to do more of the same. Perhaps politicians do have something to worry about, but it isn't the tea party, Glenn Beck or even right wing screamer Mark Levin.
It may be the unhinged left who is more on the brink of losing it. Talk radio is an outlet for the right. The left have no outlets, no talk radio only foaming at the mouth Ed Schultz and the smarmy Chris Matthews and their buddies at fledgling MSNBC. They could not argue their way out of a paper bag most of the time.
Right wing talkers use common sense, faith in mankind, knowledge of history and reasoning to make their points.

Last year between the primary and general elections Fuller was the inspector of elections at the polling station she worked at in both the primary and general elections. First of all, just after the primary, during the training session, Marilyn said she was warned about Fuller. She knew he was confrontational. So she was worried. He acted very bizarre during the training sessions. During the day he would stand up in the middle of room and do leg kicks and karate chops.
One time, during the primary elections, Fuller went outside and started screaming at a woman who was handing out literature beyond the 75 foot limit. He chased her to her car. The woman was very frightened and locked her doors. Eventually, she fled to another station. Fuller also had a run-in with the police that day.

Shades of Wellstone - Left Wingers Hijack Memorial Service

quote this morning on the Blaze concerning the "invocation" by Native American Carlos Gonzales saying that "the invocation could have used more God, less Mexico, and less Carlos Gonzales."
The guy mentioned Mexico at least 3 times and didn't say God.It was weird for a prayer and people were cheering like it was a rally. His invocation was a strange Native American religious blessing (sort of) but I am pretty sure none the victims were Native religion followers. They were Christians from what I have read.
Obama had a great speach, well delivered of course but did nothing to silence the peanut gallery. Except for Obama the whole thing smelled a bit like a Democrat political rally. But they'd never use a funeral or a memorial service to further their causes would they?...

These lefties should be ashamed but I gave up looking for civil, respectful and polite behavior from left wingers a long time ago. They use these tradgedies to further their causes. That should tell you something right there.

Governor-Elect Hickenlooper’s choice of political-labor activist Ellen Golombek to head the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment is the latest example. It’s not merely that Ms. Golombek runs the labor arm of the Colorado Democracy Alliance, the so-called Progressives’ political machine. It’s that she has a long history with the SEIU, the most political of labor unions, and one closely associated with public employees unions. By doing so, Hicklenlooper has put himself on the wrong side of the public on one of the central issues of state governance facing us today.

Newly discovered declassified letters found in the Soviet Comintern archives seem to early leaders of the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) with the Communist Party, the Daily Caller reports.
Noted author Paul Kengor reportedly unearthed letters, including one written on ACLU stationary, dated on May 23, 1931 and signed by ACLU founder Roger Baldwin that requests help from then-American Communist Party Chairman William Z. Foster in coordinating travel arrangements for ACLU Chairman Harry Ward’s travels to the Soviet Union. The letter suggests Ward’s trip would revolve around a search for “evidence from Soviet Russia” that would undermine America’s capitalist system:

I was on board the big E during this time and remember then Commander Honor's videos to be quite crude at times, and got worse as the cruise went along. I was an E5 and never been on ship before so did not know this was not the norm. Heck he was the XO!

I wrote a blog at the time I was on board for my family and friends. It was private at the time but I made it public after the cruise was over.
