The Wages of Spin is Death of a Politician
Great Read over at Patheos.com by Timothy Dairymple. Obama was setup to fail by his campaign strategy (pretending to be a Messiah figure with new ideas).
He spun, and spun, and spun. The moment he won the primary would be seen, he foretold, as "the moment when we began to provide care for the sick and good jobs for the jobless . . . when the rise of the oceans began to slow and our planet began to heal . . . when we ended a war and secured our nation and restored our image as the last, best hope on earth."
These promises are simply too much. They are dishonest. Obama could never deliver on them. The Obama camp ran their campaign in such a way that they won the election by dooming the presidency. Of course there is nothing new in politicians promising more than they can deliver. But Obama committed this political sin on such a gargantuan scale that it ought to be named after him.

As a member of the military I have voluntarily given up a lot of my rights, including privacy to my medical records, background checks and a lot more. But until someone can assure me some photo of my children (or me for that matter) isn't going to be on a hard drive somewhere, I am driving, not flying for business, or for pleasure. Leave it to this government to ruin more American companies.

What the heck?, no what the hell? In the past if we shot a missle we have ALWAYS said so. The military is denying it was us. It is either bad communication and incompetance or something far more sinister.

You knew it was going to happen, the whole thing seemed fishy. Why did they fire him for doing something like this when other pundits do it all the time?
It is my opinion they should however disclose these donations openly...so should Hannity and so should anyone on a show INTERVIEWING people if they donated money to them.
I never thought I'd actually say this but Rachel Maddow is right (gag reflex in play), Hannity did not disclose his donations prior to interviewing people whom he had given money to. He should have. Olby is a moron but he did not deserve to be fired for this infraction, and because of that I knew he'd be rehired and all this will probably help his dismal ratings.

Olbermann is a partisan hack, heck he's a socialist, which is a Communist without the stones to man the barracades. Just like Bill Marr Olby believes we who do not agree with his view are all stupid. They are both sad people who must live very unfulfilled lives. The fact that many of us stupid people out here are just not convinced by Keith's mastery of the 11th grade vocabulary or his smarmy arguments I am sure makes him all the more frustrated.
Well Olby, Bill, Rachel, prepare to be frustrated for the rest of your lives. The Tea Party is not going away, we've seen that with a little organization and help from our friends in the alternative media we can actually steer this ship in a new direction.
What you saw us do in this last election was a historic move to the right...and we had all but given up hope. Imagine what we can do now that we have some of that...hope. ....yes we can.
