Hickenlooper thinks people in metropolitan areas are more enlightened...or smarter
The People's Press Collective is documenting Hickenlooper poopers. Ask any politician to continuiously talk for weeks at a time and eventually they will actually say something they think without going through the gate of careful political speak...something from deep down in their heart of hearts. Apparently Mayor John thinks folks outside of major metropolitan areas are less smart than his friends in Boulder and Denver.

HBO, your taxes and George Soros funds anti-American film, glorifies domestic terrorists

Radical philanthropist George Soros is bankrolling a documentary that celebrates left-wing terrorists who plotted to napalm Republicans at the 2008 GOP convention in Minnesota. Even worse, you too are bankrolling the film through your taxes.....
Taxpayers also underwrite Sundance’s adventures in social justice indoctrination. According to nonprofit tax returns (known as IRS Form 990s), the Sundance Institute has taken in $11,240,081 in government grants since 1997. It is unclear which governments made the grants because the 990 forms lump all the grant-making governments together.
The federal government has given $1,350,000 to the institute since 2000, according to USAspending.gov. All but $5,000 of the money was from the National Endowment for the Arts. (The $5,000 grant was from the State Department.) It’s not clear if the $1,350,000 is part of the $11 million-plus figure for all government grants.

Ft Hood Terrorist trial
The Fort Hood Muslim terrorist is now on trial and the testimony has begun. I have a hard time reading it, I get really angry. This guy is a complete coward. He shot people who were running away, and he killed a pregnant woman. Now he faces his accusers, then he will face an American Prison...for the term of his miserable life.
I can only hope he is held in the general prison population at a max prison.

The Obama administration gave corporate giant General Electric — the parent company of NBC — $24.9 million in grants from the $787-billion economic "stimulus" law President Barack Obama signed in February 2009, according to records posted by the administration at Recovery.gov.
Despite getting $24.9 million from U.S. taxpayers, GE decreased its U.S.-based employees by 18,000 in 2009, according to the company's 2009 annual report.
According to Standard & Poor's, GE took in $156 billion in revenue in 2009.

Important news to remember on the economy

A lot has been said by Independant voters about Republicans being just as bad as Democrats in the corruption end...while it may be partially true, to equate them is rediculous.
As we head into election season it is EXTREMLY important to remember which party wanted to regulate Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac and which ones said NO, things are fine, there is no crisis coming. It is important to remember who was the adult in the economic warnings as we headed into our current economy and who basically called those who warned about the coming disaster.....wait for it....racists.

One Nation Crowd a bit dissapointing to the socialists
If you saw any video from Glenn Beck's 8-28 rally it was very impressive. As a response, the left wing came up with one of their own. Unlike Glenn Beck's it was political, unlike Beck's it was endorsed by political candidates, unlike Beck's the people picked up their trash and were respecful, unlike Beck's it was funded by special interests and unlike Beck's it was not well attended and not very exciting.
The One Nation Rally was also endorsed publically by the POTUS, and free bus tickets to the rally were available and they could not get a crowd!
