How long did it take my Representative to become corrupt once he hit Washington? Who knows but what we do know is Ed Perlmutter is no "man of the people" he's a man of big government and big financial influence.
Why do I say that?
1. Ed Perlmutter supports Cap and Tax, the largest tax increase in US history designed to tax Carbon output, one of the most tone deaf and economy destroying ideas ever. How do I know this...he wrote me and told me so after I wrote him and begged him not to sign such a law.
2. Revealed TODAY; Rep. Ed Perlmutter inserted a provision into the recently passed House climate change bill that would drum up business for "green" banks, such as the one he has invested in and his family and a political donor helped found in San Francisco. Emphasis mine
Apparently the Bank Called New Resource Bank is also a bit of hot water.

According to the House Ethics Manual’s guidance on outside employment and income: “Although the term ‘conflict of interest’ may be subject to various interpretations in general usage, under federal law and regulation, this term ‘is limited in meaning; it denotes a situation in which an official’s conduct of his office conflicts with his private economic affairs.’ The ultimate concern ‘is risk of impairment of impartial judgment, a risk which arrises whenever there is a temptation to serve personal interests.’ ”
The Times Continues;New Resource also lists Deana Perlmutter, the congressman's former spouse, and his father, Leonard Perlmutter, among those who have invested "seed capital and effort" to get the venture off the ground, according to the bank's Web site.
Mr. Perlmutter's sponsorship of the GREEN Act given his financial stake in the bank raises ethical questions. SOURCE Washington Times

Are you surprised? Ed Perlmutter requested $2.5 million for The National Global Syndrome Foundation - yes a good cause, but guess who now works for the foundation?? Ed's daughter Abby and his ex-wife Deana, who is always looking for a photo op,is on the fundraising committee-oh and she is allegedly dating Bank of Americas CFO Bruce Thompson. I think Perlmutter is also on the Finance committee?????? I guess keep it all in the family. I wonder where Thompson's kids work???????

Dean perlmutter is reportedly the first lobbyist to take Solyndra to the govt for a loan. This is too much for me. A bank CFO, a lobbyist responsible for representing the largest failed govt loans, a congressman??????? Is BOA really moving worthless derivatives to a holding company with the govt permission?????? Are tax payees going to pay for that too?
Deana Perlmutter is the first lobbyist to take Solyndra to the Govt. Her rumored boyfriend is Bruce Thompson CFO of Bank Of America and her ex-husband is Congressman Ed Perlmutter who is on the Banking Committee. What a triangle. Isn't Barack Obama speaking from Bank of America stadium ay DNC? Hmmm mm mm
