Obama and abolishing the 2nd Amendment - I know we used to believe that but now we never did!

This is not something I kid nor exaggerate about. I use the word "abolish" because that is the word the Joyce Foundation uses as their mission. The foundation where Barack Obama served as a director for 8 years.

I am not a big 2nd amendment guy...just isn't my thing, I've got enough to fight for, I've never even owned a gun. I am in the military so it's not like I don't know how to shoot them, I've just never made them an issue in my house...and curious boys under the age of 5 are the reason why I've just never had one.

I am not against them however.

I believe the 2nd amendment is in the constitution for good reason. Making guns illegal is the first step to making law abiding citizens subservient to an over reaching all too powerful government.

That is why the constitution provides for it and should not be changed. Obama does not believe that (or didn't use to), he wants (or wanted) to change the constitution...

...let me wax Biden on you here "I'll say that again" OBAMA WANTS TO CHANGE THE CONSTITUTION and abolish the 2nd Amendment. There is proof positive that is what he always believed before he started running for President.

During Obama’s tenure, the Joyce Foundation board planned and implemented a program targeting the Supreme Court. The work began five years into Obama’s directorship, when the Foundation had experience in turning its millions into anti-gun “grassroots” organizations, but none at converting cash into legal scholarship.

The plan’s objective was bold: the judicial obliteration of the Second Amendment.

Of course Obama says he doesn't believe that now, but that is just the flavor he is currently selling. Why would someone change on this issue so drastically when he really hasn't changed his political outlook at all? I generally don't try to guess what people are thinking, that is God's territory, all I can do is say look at his past and judge whether you think the person is selling swampland now....I'd say the swamp is getting pretty deep. Liberals know that left wing ideology doesn't sell in the heartland, nor in Virginia, Tennessee or Colorado...so they say

"I know we used to believe that but now we never did."

Perhaps with Obama up in the polls it might be a good time to buy a handgun, and get a conceal carry permit.
