While the majority of the country was watching John McCain's acceptance speech, Barack Obama appeared on Bill O'Reilly.
As recently as July, the Democratic presidential candidate declined to rate the surge a success, but said it had helped reduce violence in the country. On Thursday, Obama acknowledged the 2007 increase in U.S. troops has benefited the Iraqi people.
“I think that the surge has succeeded in ways that nobody anticipated,” Obama said while refusing to retract his initial opposition to the surge. “I’ve already said it’s succeeded beyond our wildest dreams.”
However, he added...blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah wah wah wah. MORE HERELet me sum up his blahs. He said, yabut the Iraqi's aren't doing their part enough.....
he must have not noticed that on Monday U.S. commanders formally returned responsibility for security in Iraq's Anbar province to the Iraqi Army and police.

When will all the troops flights home be leaving?
Any further news on when the troops will be arriving home? Since we've won and all...
