Rocky Mountain Right had this up today and it is good enough to plaster all over the internet. This should be done by every Republican debating a Democrat who voted for the war in Iraq. they cannot run from their record...they voted for it, now they want to blame everyone else because they perceive it to be unpopular.

They voted for it based on the lies they were told by the administration, which have ALL---every last one- been proven to be falsehoods. They see the Iraq war for the mistake it obviously was/is and want us to leave the debacle that WE created to the "new" Iraqi gov't to solve. The change of opinion has NOTHING to do with the popularity or unpopularity of the war. Many Democrats repeatedly expressed doubts years ago...so they didn't "just decide". If we could have spent one tenth of the money we have wasted in Iraq on REAL homeland security and in building Afganistan up into a real democracy with real farms and industries, instead of the warlord's heroin heaven, we would be a lot safer from the radical Islamists out there. What about borders that really are borders? Shipments into ports that really are inspected. Inspect a train?
Perhaps guard a train? What about our chemical factories? Our strategic industries? No, we are building a new Iraq. BS!
If we had done something about the Saudi's financing the insurgency and AlQueida.. but no, we don't want to offend our oil supplier and the Bush family friends.
Instead, we have pissed away Billions of dollars on people who would rather kill each other than make peace. When we leave they will do just that...if they don't know how to live with each other after 400 years, then so be it...go for it. It will take us decades to undo the damage this monumentally stupid administration has forced on us. Good riddance.

No one lied or misled, this has been documented but I woudl nto want to confuse a liberal with facts. every country including france believed there were WMD but WMD was only one of the hundreds of reason used...and all liberals like to remember to further their agenda.

Liberals in Wash. want open borders..so your argument is a moot point. Whoever you are Mr. Anonymous, you are trying to take victory and turn it into a defeat...fortunately people like you are not the ones making things happen over there. people like you are just back here complaining it wasn't done right...of course you are...why would you not back seat drive, you didn't want it to begin with!...pretty easy to do in any conflict. If the Dems were as lunatic as they are now back during WW2 we would have lost.
